TripuraSundari

Tripurasundari is the supreme goddess of the Shri Vidya tradition, the one who pervades and illuminates the three cities — Tripura — of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep, revealing herself as the luminous awareness that underlies all states of experience. Her name, Sundari, the Beautiful One, does not speak merely of form but of the intrinsic beauty of pure consciousness recognising itself. She is Lalita, the playful one, whose sport is the entire cosmos, and Rajarajeshvari, the sovereign queen of all sovereigns, seated upon the Shri Chakra that is both her body and the geometric map of creation. To meditate upon Tripurasundari is to be drawn into the nectar-filled current of Iccha Shakti, the power of divine will, feeling the heart dissolve into the radiant sweetness of her gaze until the seeker and the sought merge in the bliss of the Bindu, the single luminous point from which all worlds arise and into which all worlds return.
